I have finally settled on the BEST way to provide consistent feedback and engagement for all Members of the National Spine Management Group.  This has taken much longer than I had expected, but I think this solution will be the best option to make sure you are getting constant updates in the shortest possible time.

I have worked with US Digital Sciences Corporation to embed a SMS (texting) alert to the website. What happens at a basic level (on your end) is every time there is an update to the website, a text alert will go to your cell phone with a link to access.  I believe that the best way for us to communicate in today’s environment, is through a mobile platform supported by website content (video, audio and text consultations) and phone calls with me.

The key to this is making sure that your personal information (demographics) are updated in the site.  The most important is your cell phone number, many of you have your office phone number on file.  Since that is a land line, it will not receive SMS (text messaging).  You also must “opt-in” and you can do that at the Account Page.  Here is what you need to do to ensure you are getting alerts, if you have any additional questions, please email Jody at

  • Log into the website
  • Click on the My Account link at the very top right of the site
  • On the left side of your screen fill out the Opt-In form for SMS messaging

The following alerts will come through the SMS alerts.

  • Website updates and content
  • Weekly webinar meetings
  • Seminar updates (including updates while at the event)
  • Member recognition updates (success stories)
  • Weekly Grand Rounds
  • Weekly Elite Calls
  • Guided Curriculum Updates
  • Weekly videos (2 min or less)

I truly believe this will assist us in communicating more effectively by reducing the time you need to devote to interacting with the program WHILE increasing the quality of content.  Most importantly, I will be adding short video consultations that are 2 min or less.  These will be based on important “learning points” that give you a basis to start implementation of important process to increase patient visits and generate more revenue for your practice.
